The musical family of ody icons was born in 2019 spontaneously releasing the Supermelancolic cover on their YouTube channel. In the same year in Athens they made their first live appearance at six dogs in collaboration with BananaBoys parties. The very next year in 2020 and in the midst of a pandemic, they participated in more than five festivals in Greece and Cyprus presenting covers of songs that were the core of the identity of ody icons. On Christmas Day 2020, they released their first spoken word track entitled Working out my little muscles #WOMLM produced by Stelios Antoniou, accompanied by an accessible music video, which is essentially their manifesto to this day. In 2021, in collaboration with the Onassis Foundation, they are releasing the spoken word track Yes Hallo Hi, produced by Sagittarius Lefthand. Then they appeared at the summer events of Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens as part of the Pride Festival and then they performed two sold out concerts in Athens, at Lunar Space. In May 2022, the EP “drama”, their first ever album, was released, produced by Fotis ingie Papatheodorou. The EP was accompanied by a self-titled ten-minute accessible film directed by choreographer Harry Koushos. In the summer of the same year, they appeared on the central day of Athens Pride in Syntagma Square, presenting a new dance single entitled We Cry at Night. In December 2022 they re-released the EP film “drama” universally accessible to deaf and blind people. In 2023 They released 2 singles from the LP album POLYDRAMA which was released on October 13 in 2023. The album was presented at a full house concert at PLYFA and 5 more shows followed in December 2023 at Red Jasper in Athens.
